How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?
Throughout my time in blogging for media, I have used many different ways to show how much knowledge I have gained from learning about music videos as a whole. Below I have used a web 2.0 tool such as 'padlet' in order to create an aesthetically pleasing collage of the tools in which I used throughout the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages.
The Apple Macs were our most commonly used media technology, because they contained all of the software we needed to edit our footage and ancillary texts. Final Cut Pro was used to edit all of our footage for the music video, because it is a fast and easy-to-use program that allowed us to add inserts, text, transitions and effects over various clips of footage. The program also allowed us to speed up or slow down any footage we wanted to, which really helped when we worked on lip syncing the piece.
Above in the padlet displayed, one can tell I have used a lot of media technologies to get my points across. However, although I have used a lot of tools and media technologies, I definitely could have benefitted from using a lot more. Each post is conveyed in a creative way, nevertheless, using purely voiceovers or doing a vlog could have helped to get my points across in a clearer way.
Aside from this, I will summarise by saying: I feel that it was my duty to be creative and to show enthusiasm within this blog and in my opinion I feel I have done just that.
I have loved learning how to use all the different media technologies and hope this will help me in the future in making a presentation for a company or just allow me to make different videos.

Evaluation Q.3
What have you learned from your audience feedback?
An essential part of this project was gaining audience feedback as it allowed other people who were either in or out of my target audience to give their opinions on my products. It was key to take the feedback made 'on board' as this would help make the products more appealing to audiences.
In the Canva posts below, an explanation of the audience feedback for our treatment and music video is depicted.
Throughout the project, audience feedback has allowed our final product to improve and become more specific to the target audiences needs. If we had not obtained the feedback, then our final product would not have been as successful.
Despite, me having my own criticisms of our video after each edit and knowing what I specifically wanted to alter/change, the audience feedback helped us to pick up on some points that we had not picked up on previously. For example, colour corrections, transitions and lip-sync errors.
Our research also played a vital part in making our video relevant to our target audience. Without completing the initial audience research, we would not have created a product suitable for our target audience. Since we successfully completed this task we have created a video which adheres to our target audience.

In order to successfully gain audience feedback, we created a video if people watching our music video and giving feedback on it. We followed this by asking them prepared questions. We wanted to ask questions that we knew would spark conversation and the initiative to theorize our video and depict it closely. By doing this we were able to obtain extremely useful feedback from audiences. The audiences used were a mix of people who were in our target audience and people who were not. But how were we able to identify our target was through questionnaires and allowing each member of our targeted audience to have a say.

*Warning: Since I have been evaluating my work and receiving audience feedback during production, the videos below will have appeared on existing blog posts*
From looking at some videos that we made in which my group and I thought would be a good way to get audience feedback, helped us a lot in the process of starting to making to finishing the video. For example, as posted before, when we finished our video, we decided that feedback was vital in order to find out if the audiences wanted anything to be changed. I think this video benefitted us a lot as it gave us an insight as to watch they liked and didn't like, however as this is the finished product, we were much more successful in the feedback than we have ever been.

Evaluation: Q.2
How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
During the creation of all of my media products, I considered the ways in which they can combine and relate to one another. I did this so that audiences would be able to see the relation between my products due to a strong identity that I would create. This in turn would make my products effective when combined.
I have created a presentation which explains how the effectiveness of my products increases when they are combined due to the links found within them. The presentation can be seen below:
Overall, I believe that my media products are effective when they are combined as I have created a strong branding with links between all of my products. However, there are come sections which are less effective, such as my magazine ad.
